For over two decades, the Association of Minority Health Professions Schools (AMHPS) has been at the national forefront of increasing the diversity of the medical and health related professions by creating education opportunities to foster recruitment, retention and development of African-American and other under-represented minorities as faculty and researchers. We also have a long standing history of expanding the national and international knowledge base of environmental health concerns in the African-American and other underserved communities through scientific research conducted at our member institutions.
On behalf of our Board of Directors, we thank you for visiting our website and look forward to your continued support. Together we will work towards a country where health disparities no longer exist.
Please feel free to share your questions or comments with us. Thank you for your interest in AMHPS.
Sincerely,
Phyllis Champion, MA
